Apply now Netbox Recruitment Ltd are currently working on behalf of our client in Rochester to secure a new member of their Technical Product Support team. You will be responsible for sourcing new products for the business and developing product knowledge to support the sales function of the business. Our client is well-established within their sector and this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is dedicated to their role and displays a genuine business acumen when liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to secure the best deal. You will be a key part in the supply chain process. You will be responsible for: * Working in close cooperation with manufacturers, liaising on a daily basis * Price negotiation * Working alongside the Sales team to accurately present quotations to customers * Secure best prices for products * Support the sales team with product knowledge To be successful in your application you will: * Have previous experience within a Procurement/Buying role * Have a technical acumen, able to negotiate prices and understand product groupings * Be a competent user of Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE - YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING UNDERSTANDING OF VLOOKUPS Salary for this role is negotiable, based upon market experience.
