Apply now NDT Technician - Stevenage6 months contract - Full-Time - Competitive Acorn Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established international company whose focus is on the design and manufacture of advanced satellites and systems for telecommunications, earth observation, and navigation and science programmesWe are currently seeking an NDT Technician at the Stevenage facility on a 6 months contract.Job SpecificationTo carry out Non Destructive Testing (NDT) using X-Ray, Thermography and Ultra sound and other techniques as required. *Work in a small team, prepared to work extended hours and off-site at short notice (mainly Toulouse). *Ability to work on own but seek advice of 2nd opinion where necessary. *A good communicator able to work with staff at all levels and abilities. Main Responsibilities*Relevant licences at level 2 aerospace radiography or equivalent. To EN4179*RPS Qualification *The priority is in Radiography. Digital experience essential *Experience working on NDT in an aerospace or Automotive background as a minimum*A willingness to travel and will be happy for long periods if needed.Desirable*Ability to work with Ultra sound or IR Experience in the aerospace background would be preferable.
