Job Purpose: To carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment, grounds and systems in accordance with agreed service levels. To Supervise the onsite team. Undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies. Utilises several skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, heating and cooling. To carry out all water treatment and control measures within L8 recommendations and relevant water risk assessments. Key Tasks: Customer Service - Ensure a professional image of CBRE GWS is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all timesEstablish and maintain a good working relationship with the client representative, client's personnel and co-workersExcellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a team or alone as required Statutory Compliance & General Duties - Day to Day Supervision of Reception, Security and Cleaning TeamsCarry out all PPM maintenance as per the instruction set provided within ConceptEnsure routine maintenance is carried out to all water/L8 systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreementsReporting of all PPM defects via defect process and liaise with the supervisor of defect requirementsTo accurately maintain all site logs and associated paperworkSign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via your PDA in line with CBRE policies and procedures in a timely mannerEnsure any out of scope L8 testing results are escalated as per the building water risk assessmentCarry out diagnostic and fault finding to plant and equipment within portfolioEnsure weekly equipment reports are updated with any change in status of equipmentLiaise with sub-contractors as required for repairs / quotations, monitoring performance of sub-contractor personnel. Ensuring works have been undertaken correctly and work area has been left in a satisfactory conditionLiaise and work with other trade engineers to ensure issues on all systems are attended to and resolved within SLA agreementsCarry out reactive repairs on all electrical systems as required To be involved in call out rota and responds quickly to emergency situationsCompletion and submission of weekly timesheets and personal paperwork as per deadlinesEnsure professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning Key Skills / Experience: A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills. Qualification in L8 management Good knowledge of building water systems and working to strict Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes and water risk assessments Level 3 Electrical (NVQ or C&G) Current and relative knowledge of L8 requirements Previous working with structured PPM delivery. Experience of working with business-critical equipment Working within customer focused role.
