Apply now A long established manufacturing client located in Medway Towns is looking to appoint a multi skilled engineer on a permanent basis.You will undertake routine, planned and reactive maintenance duties of machinery and plant on a rotating shift basis, interchanging between days and nights, Monday to Friday.Your key duties will involve working as part of a team assisting with breakdowns, fault finding and repairs as well as making sure daily checks are performed efficiently.All tasks must be compliant with Health and Safety policies,clearly reported and documented for audit purposes. Planned preventative maintenance will be advised by the Team Leader, contributing to the reliability and performance of production.You will be an experienced multi skilled Engineer and will have a time served apprenticeship and or have formal qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and own transport are essential (due to location and shift pattern).
