Apply now Maintenance Engineer - Coleshill We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical focus and an understanding of Electrical. The role is 80% mechanical and 20% Electrical. Our client has been producing parts for large Automotive companies for the past 70 years and is now broadening their offer and this means they need someone to take control of all maintenance onsite due to the current engineer retiring. This requires someone who can take control, review and improve current processes as well as perform the maintenance. Your role will be 70/30 split in favour of hands on maintenance with some of your time organising maintenance. After 3 months in the role they will be looking to expand the team and take on a junior engineer who you will oversee. The role is Monday to Friday with the start time to be confirmed but is between the hours of 06:00am - 08:00am. First and foremost this is an engineering and hands on role.Skills required: - Power Press knowledge (30 - 400 ton) - Have worked in an manufacturing environment - Repair / Organise Presses and other press equipment (de coilers, straighteners etc..) in 2 shops - Procurement of parts Internal & external services - Welding /Fabrication - Ability to think beyond the current job and set your own realistic targets and KPIs - Be able to manage an apprentice This is a permeant position looking for an immediate start for the right person and will be a 2 stage interview process.
