Apply now Marketing Manager- Festivals - Events Industry - LONDON - £30K - £35K + BONUS Job Title: Marketing and Account Manager (Full Time) Reports To: Show Manager Our client, a London based events company who are passionate about delivering great days out to the public in a variety of personal interest sectors including music, motoring, food, outdoor pursuits and crafts. This is your chance to work on two sell-out festivals where you will sell stands to a variety of motoring, food and lifestyle brands and help build a dynamic commercial environment for our exhibitors and visitors. TIME-SCALE & DELIVERY DATES • Role starting 1st March through to mid September 2018 • Show dates (when the candidate will be expected on-site for the duration of build and event delivery JOB PURPOSE • Manage and deliver the festival's digital and social media campaigns to set time-lines and budget • Maintain and develop the festival's brand and possible extensions • Maintain, nurture and develop the festival's loyal fans and neighbours • Manage key sponsorship accounts ensuring all commercial rights of the sponsors contracts are delivered to time-lines and budget • Develop clear brand guidelines and tone of voice ensuring this is maintained across all channels PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Marketing deliverables as follows: • Alongside show manager, develop ticket model and deliver two ticket sale launches to meet revenue targets • Produce, maintain and analyse ticket reports • Plan, manage and report on Marketing Budget • Develop, plan and manage the marketing campaign including comms plan, PR, digital and social media planning, advertising spend, creative briefing, media/retail/cross promotions • Create and implement an exhibitor marketing campaign to help maximise those routes to market • Project manage digital marketing channels, including: o Website - perform regular audits, maximise effectiveness and update appropriately o Email campaigns - write, build, launch and ensure best practise of regular emails to database Online content and social media - create and implement social media campaign • Delivery marketing, digital and social media deliverables across show Sponsors, Supporters and Stakeholders to the highest possible standard • Produce and post engaging content to social media channels • Work with the Show Management team to write copy to help communicate updates to the user base • Manage and respond to visitor and local resident communications and feedback across emails, phone and social media • Project management and delivery of event show guide and various visitor collateral • Manage suppliers including PR agency, web agency and other contractors • Manage the approval process of all marketing communications • Possible line management of intern(s) Account Management deliverables as follows: • Work closely with the core festival team to ensure delivery of event partners/sponsors rights packages both in advance and on-site • Act as main point of contact for clients. Building and maintaining relationships with the objective of retaining their support for future events across the BE portfolio • Attend regular status meetings with individual clients to communicate event status and ensure delivery plans are being adhered to • Liaise regularly with the festival's core Sales and Operations team to ensure deadlines are being met to time-line and budget • Ensure sponsors adhere to the festival's brand guidelines • Generate analysis and evaluation reports of each client's experience across the festival to inform future plans and activity • Work with the Sales Manager to create an initial proposal / opportunities for 2018 KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Have experience in the outdoor events and (ideally) automotive industries • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of marketing events and successful delivery on projects • Excellent research and analytical skills • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong team player • Experience of client facing project management • Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail • Confident and creative copywriting with proven success across website and email gaining considerable traction • Good with numbers and spreadsheets • Knowledge of SEO • Experience creating content for social media channels, scheduling posts and creating content calendars • Ideally, knowledge and experience in CMS, EMS, ExCel, Photoshop, Powerpoint DIMENSION • Working with core festival team plus extended freelance and project management team • Position includes external meetings, site visits & working on site at all events • Potential to continue role across other events in the company portfolio in the future Marketing Manager- Festivals - Events Industry - LONDON - £30K - £35K + BONUS Advertised on behalf of our market leading client, by Red Recruitment.
