Working with a highly innovative and entrepreneurial team, you will have the autonomy to take a lead role and build teams organically to support you in your role. The majority of your time will be spent in both the planning and implementation of marketing, content creation, social media management, PR and event activities to help raise awareness of OPUK Group's various consumer-facing brands. You'll be a guardian of our brands and, utilising the expertise and support of multiple external agencies, you will be instrumental in bringing them to life for our customers. There is huge scope for this role to grow as the business grows, so we're looking for someone who is keen to learn. You will need to be ready to be hands-on from day one but with a desire to develop and grow. Reporting to the Board of Directors, your key responsibilities will include: Project management - to fully manage and implement the quarterly marketing planWork collaboratively with Business Development across multiple sectors to deliver quarterly strategic plan.Digital Marketing - lead the management of the Group's client-facing websites, monitor analytics and digital trends to continuously improve website performance.Content Marketing - help shape and define a content-driven brand marketing strategy. Develop and refine our content calendar and produce the required content (blog, video, social media posts, newsletters, etc). Syndicate content to appropriate channels and measure/optimise content marketing performance.Publications - coordinating external marketing materials - flyers/newsletters/e-news publications. Writing/editing copy as appropriate.Events - full event management and deliveryPR - managing PR with external agency and content writingDatabase Management / Direct Marketing - managing and cleansing multiple data sets and delivery of communications to target groups.Marketing Automation - managing email, telephone and SMS marketing campaignsMarketing Administration - creating and managing budgets, marketing schedules/reports. Reporting to the Board of Directors at meetings. RequirementsTo be considered for this role you must: Have demonstrable experience of delivering strong return on investment through marketing initiatives and activities.Have significant experience of writing impactful content with visual presentation, ideally gained within a professional or financial services environment.Have a general understanding of digital marketing, SEO & SMM. We're not looking for an expert, but basic knowledge would be helpful.Be a self-starter and be able to manage your own timeBe comfortable working with WordPressHave an excellent working knowledge of MS OfficeKnowledge of Photoshop would be beneficialWork well under pressure About you Brand-building comes naturally to you.
