Their success has been as a result of having the right expertise in place to offer customers the right, most effective and commercial solutions. They continue to grow, with ambitious and realistic plans to impact their turnover significantly over the next couple of years; they have recently been successful in winning a new high profile contract with a number of other wins in the pipeline. In order to support this success there is a newly created opportunity for an ambitious and effective Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the operations operate cost efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing financial statementsMaking sure spending is in line with budgetsAnalysing your company's financial performance and making longer term forecastsRecommending ways of cutting costsProviding information for auditsWorking with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisionsSupporting with the development of other members of the team You will be fully qualified and currently operating at a similar level in a complex ever-changing business. You will experience in a 3PL/logistics environment, understanding how such a business operates and the cost implications. You will work autonomously and be confident in communicating and relaying critical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
