The role: Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipmentPerforming preventative maintenanceHandling repairs and maintenanceOverseeing contractors where necessaryRepairing equipment or structures as necessaryRepairing electrical and plumbing issues The person: Able to work with vulnerable adultsProven maintenance experienceSkilled in the use of hand and power toolsAbility to take apart equipment or devices to remove and replace defective partsAbility to read repair manuals, manufacturer instructions and parts catalogues as necessaryAbility to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenchesExperience with precision measuring instructions and electrical testing devicesExperience performing routine maintenanceExperience with plumbingStrong organisational skillsEye for detailBe kind caring and compassionate The ideal candidate must be willing to work on an on call basis and the position must take priority over any other employment. You must live within a 10 mile radius of B48 7SB. This role is a minimum of 24 hours per week on a flexible basis and paying a competitive salary of £10.30 per hour.
