Apply now Maintenance Electrician Huntingdon Permanent £34,500 Per Annum An opportunity has arisen for a competent Maintenance Electrician to join a large team in Huntingdon. The chosen candidate will maintain thermoforming and printing machines through breakdown, planned, and preventative maintenance methodologies. Additionally, the role includes the participation in continuous improvement projects. Requirements include, but are not limited to: Knowledge of PLCs and PLC programming.Logical approach to troubleshooting.Working knowledge of temperature and pressure control circuits.Understanding of stepper, single and 3 phase motors and motor controllers.Able to use and understand multimeters, oscilloscopes and other measurement devices.Able to use and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.Must be computer literate. To be considered applicants will have a HNC/ONC/C&G in electrical or electronic engineering. They should have a wealth of experience in fault finding thermoforming or printing machines and be KPI driven. Candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team, be able to communicate effectively and complete thorough handovers. Applicants must also have a keen awareness of health & safety. Particular preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate mechanical aptitude. This will be a 4on-4off shift rotation working 12 hour shifts. (Two days: 7am to 7pm; Two nights: 7pm to 7am; and 4 rest days)
