Apply now The M&A Analyst will be expected to support the Directors, Vice-Presidents and Managing Directors (the "Project Manager") in the conduct of and reporting of consultancy projects, licensing deals and M&A mandates. This role requires a willingness and ability to ensure the smooth management and execution of projects, building strong and continuing relationships with clients and the effective management of the project team. Description To support the execution of M&A sell side and buy side mandates, licensing projects, independent valuations and strategy consulting projectsConstruction financial models for M&A, Licensing and independent product and technology valuationsWriting of information memorandums, teasers and marketing materialsOperating data rooms, running management presentations and servicing client needsEnsuring that high quality research and analysis is delivered to the project in a timely mannerHelping the Project Manager develop a project plan with timelines and resource requirementsAssist the Project Manager allocate project work to other analysts allotted to the project and assuming responsibility for the smooth running of the projectEnsuring compliance with all project processes and procedures, in particular accurate minuting and monitoring of meetings, agendas and action point listMaintaining records relating to the project and the filing of project dataUpon completion, writing up and presenting the case study if requested to do soAdditional responsibilities as allocated by senior managementTo begin developing a network of industry contacts through the attendance of appropriate meetings and therapeutic conferencesTo produce white papers and industry analysis of a sufficiently professional standard to the business' external audience Profile Educated to a degree levelGood knowledge of accounting and finance is essentialMinimum of 3 years of relevant work experienceAdaptable team playerAble to prioritise and to multi-task with ability to execute work independentlyStrong analytical skills and a good eye for detailExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAble to mix comfortably with and establish good working relationships with senior executives in the industryCommercially aware and computer literateExperience in corporate advisory or accounting sector with track record of working in transaction or project related work Job Offer Due to the nature of the role, salary is negotiable for correct individual. Circa £45-£65k + benefits
