This role would suit either a Paralegal who is looking for the next step in their career or a very driven Law graduate who is looking to start their career in Law. Responsibilities of a Legal Claims Advisor will include, but are not limited to: You will be required to build a rapport with potential clients both over the phone and in person and ensure that all initial details involving the potential claim are obtainedYou will need to collate of the all information regarding the potential claim and you will be required to type this up in a clear and concise wayYou will be required to prepare all the necessary documentation in relation to taking on a new claim and you will also be required to advise clients if the firm are unable to take the claim onYou will need to explain the legal process to potential clients and also discuss complex legal mattersYou will also have to inform potential clients of the benefits of working with the firm Background/Skills of a Legal Claims Advisor: You will be a Law Graduate and/or a ParalegalExcellent customer service skills with demonstrable evidence of building rapport with customers/ clients both over the phone and in personStrong IT and typing skillsA team player who is flexible and dedicatedAbility to work effectively and efficientlyHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and interpersonal skillsConfident, positive and professional telephone mannerAn ability to demonstrate effective time/diary managementAn ability to 'talk and type' directly into an electronic enquiry document If this sounds like the ideal opportunity for you, please get in touch with Sophia Damshenas at Cathedral Appointments today.
