Our Property Investment Department is highly skilled in land acquisition, construction and regeneration.Orbit work with land owners and agents, housing providers, developers and local authorities to meet our ambitious development aspirations.In this key role we will provide you with an invaluable insight into Housing and develop your understanding of how our business interacts and manages relationships with our customers. You will learn about commercial elements including land acquisition and sales as well as technical components including planning and property development.Upon successful completion of the scheme our intention is to offer you a permanent position and continue to support and develop you to become a future leader within our organisation.About the SchemeThe scheme is a two-year placement starting in September 2018. At Orbit, people come first, and we have a culture that will help you to thrive. You will receive a robust company-wide induction on top of a local induction with your peers. You will then begin rotating placements, with year one based mainly in your chosen department and with two placements in other areas of the business. In year two you will take on a trainee role in your chosen department including a salary increase based on performance.You will also have access to coaching, mentoring, a buddy, the opportunity to study for a qualification linked to your role, attendance at external events (e.g. conferences), we will enroll you on our management development programme, you will have regular reviews and 121s with your line manager alongside a unique Personal Development Plan.We offer an excellent flexible benefits package including private medical insurance, discounted dental insurance, gym membership, generous holiday entitlement (starting at 27 days plus bank holidays) and pension scheme.
