Apply now Junior Regulatory Affairs Officer-Cosmetics-Chemistry-Hants-£20k-£24kA leading Health & Beauty manufacturer requires a Regulatory Affairs Technician to join its administrative team. You will provide administrative support relating to formulated products and purchased or customer supplied raw materials. This is a varied, hands-on, office based role in a fast-paced environment, which requires flexibility, enthusiasm, accuracy and attention to detail at all times. The post holder will be required to work within clearly defined processes and procedures. Duties & responsibilities *Assist in the control and maintenance of master raw material database, including: supplier material specification, MSDS and toxicological information*Assist in the maintenance of PD laboratory 'COPTIS' database*Creation, control and maintenance of Product Information File (PIF) for all formulated products using COPTIS software*Assist in the Maintenance of Customer-specific databases*Support the creation and control of operating procedures for the Product development team*Maintain the document archive*Maintain up to date training records for the Product development team*Support on Pharmaceutical, Nutritional and general documentation requirements*Carry out any other reasonable duties at the request of the Product Development Manager and/or Senior Regulatory CoordinatorSkills/ Experience *Educated to A -level in a Science-based subject, ideally Chemistry - essential*Educated to Degree level in Science-based subject, ideally Chemistry - desired*Some knowledge of regulations relating to the cosmetics industry - essential*Ability to use computerised information systems to input, retrieve and update all relevant data - essential*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office gained through practical experience - essential*Knowledge and experience in using COPTIS database - desired*Experience with Nutritional supplement regulations - desired*A confident individual able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel*Ability to efficiently plan, organise and manage own workload*Strong administration skills and good attention to detail*Ability to prioritise workload of othersPerson specification *Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to liaise and work with personnel at all levels.*Flexibility - ability to react and respond positively to changes in priority and workload*Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions*Accurate with good attention to detail*Good level of literacy and numeracy required*Ability to retain focus and maintain a calm demeanour under pressure
