They have developed an app that makes it possible to buy, sell, and rent property without ever needing an estate agent, nor pay for advertising. They are on a mission to simplify the process of selling and buying properties, and are now searching for a new member to join their team. The Role Work closely with their project lead, creative and UX teamDeal with software analysis, design, documentation, and programmingPlan, design, implement, and test system componentsEnsure product is ready for release and end user usePrepare product specifications and design documentation Organise a review and/or release of documentation when requiredPerform other duties required by the Engineering Procedures Essential Skills Experience using agile development methods and supporting tools (e.g. Scrum and Kanban)1st or Upper Second graduate degree from a reputable university, or track record of experience demonstrating capability at a comparable level Expert-level JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills utilising best practices of performance, security, accessibility, and usabilityExperience with Responsive Design, CSS Pre-processors, TemplatingPrevious experience building reusable modular JavaScript componentsFamiliarity with MVC web applicationsExcellent understanding of at least one of the MV* and UI frameworksGood understanding of cross browser / device testing and debugging techniquesBuild automation (Grunt / Gulp), Full-stack JavaScript, Web Components, WebSockets, WebRTC, Java, .NET (desirable) Important Personality Traits Passion for digital and technology world Innovative and logical mindAptitude for problem-solvingAn affinity to graphic designStrong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a fun and dynamic working environment, where there will be great opportunity to shape the future of the company.
