Purpose of the Role Product management of the company Vascular Access Consumables business. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, be accountable for short to medium term marketing and operating plans for allocated products and to meet agreed profit, revenue and market share objectives. This will involve a mix of clinical and commercial duties, working with clinicians and KOLs, the role will also involve some new product development. Management of the marketing mix and supply chain required to sell this product to a variety of different customers in the UK, Europe, Middle East and the rest of the world, is also key. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities) Full product management of the allocated product range. Strategy development; preparing and maintaining product data (product specification, market and competitor information, pricing); product training (field-based and classroom); sales support, developing key messages and sales tools; product deletion and discontinuation.Define the product strategy and roadmapDefine product requirements, prioritize features and provide justificationResearch and analyze market conditions and industry trendsIdentify and monitor competitors and be the company expert with regards to competitionGather and articulate market requirements and opportunities through regular communication with sales teams and channels to ensure products meet local market needsIdentify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancementsSupport international sales with product messaging on value proposition and competitive positioningManage key relationships with clinical KOLs and clinical advisory groups.Align with key principles to deliver key marketing initiatives and product support.Support the UK and International sales teams to ensure achievement of sales objectives and clinical experience.Communicating effectively within the organisation to ensure the motivation and alignment of the sales force and other key people in the achievement of product objectives.Being the recognised 'Brand Champion'Responsible for developing/adapting promotional material for local markets.Contributing to brand forecasts and monitor progressEncourage and be part of cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products.Building key opinion leader strategy, gaining alignment from management and executing as appropriate. Responsibility for Costs Manage assigned portion of Marketing and Communications budget, ensuring key deliverables are met.
