The ideal internal sales engineer will have proven technical sales background ideally with mechanical products. Internal Technical Sales Engineer role:The successful internal sales engineer will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for:-• Internal sales support• Customer maintenance calls (Low spend customers)• New customer identification & contact (using previous contact files/Industry research)• Quotation requests & quotation preparation• Sales support (Actioning administration requests from Field sales)• Engineering liaison (Product maintenance/New engineering requests/Modifications)• Customer returns• Complaints & reports• Refurbishment assessment & quotations• Project management• Setting up new project requests• Liaison with Engineering & Project management• Future development from internal sales to external sales role Internal Technical Sales Engineer requirement:Proven engineering sales support experienceQualified to a relevant mechanical engineering qualification Excellent communication skills
