TCV have recently secured a significant grant and are using part of this award to invest in our income generation capability in the South of England and across the East and West Midland regions. The role:The Income Generation Manager, based in London, Reading or Bristol, will work with local staff, Operational Teams and the Regional Directors to develop income generation plans by identifying, developing and converting opportunities to generate income, secure income and generate new business for TCV. Our staff have the ideas and the projects, your role will be to help them secure the income to deliver them. We are looking for candidates who understand funder needs and priorities and can shape TCV propositions by preparing compelling bids and proposals to achieve mutually desired outcomes. The successful candidates will work closely with those involved in TCV's operational activities from the outset to achieve optimum results in terms of quality, operational performance, financial performance and adherence with contract and funder requirements. The role requires a target driven approach, the ability to be flexible, to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines. This role will; • Work with colleagues, partners and stakeholder to identify new opportunities and secure new sources of funding to deliver greater impact for more people • To assist where appropriate other team members within the wider regions to complete funding applications or tender documents You will report to the local Operations Director and be a member of the Regional Management Team (RMT). As a member of the local RMT you will contribute to the leadership and direction of all TCV activities in your region. This is a great opportunity for someone with a track record of generating income in a charity setting and candidates will require a knowledge and experience of a variety of funding programmes. Focusing along the M4 corridor the role will support TCV Operations in Uxbridge, Richmond, Reading and Bristol. Our work ranges from midweek volunteer groups to targeted community support programmes. We also run an educational resource at a Tree Nursery site on outskirts of Bristol. We see opportunities to increase our profile and levels of business through Heritage Lottery, Network Rail Offset Funding, Landfill Tax Funding and various local Charitable Trusts. There is also opportunity within the Bristol/South Gloucestershire area to develop business with new mayoral programmes. However, the funding environment is a changing landscape and part of the role will be to ensure that we are informed and ready to respond to those changes. Role Requirements: A full, clean or near clean UK driving licence is required for this post, which has been held for a minimum of one year.
