Apply now Due to continued growth, Rite IT Solutions are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and experienced IT Support Technician to join our company providing dynamic and focused solutions to our ever-widening client base, and play an active part in our continuing success. Based mainly in our Essendine offices but with some travel to client sites, you will be working with our existing technical team providing day to day support of all hardware, system software and business applications to our external and internal clients, from initial request logging through to problem resolution. You will also be expected to proactively engage with our clients, advising and recommending innovative solutions to improve business processes and activities. Main responsibilities Proactively Monitor all client systems and respond to any generated alerts including system issues and security status.Provide hardware and system support for Windows networks including computers, servers, and network infrastructure remotely and at customer sites.Configure and maintain network equipment including routers, switches and firewalls.Support standard business applications and productivity suites both remotely and on site.Install new hardware and software into client networks including computers, servers and peripherals.Escalate to and liaise with third party suppliers and support agencies to resolve client problems. Qualifications and Skills Essential Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and client operating systems.Very good understanding of Windows services including Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.Experience in supporting and implementing Exchange 2010, 203, 2016, Exchange Online/Office 365.Virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V, Citrix and VMWare.Broad exposure to advanced network technologies including LAN/WAN, VPN and firewalls. Preferred but not essential Exposure to High Availability and Clustering.VoIP Telephony solution.Cloud services.Database administration.Web technologies. Required Experience or certification At least two years IT Support or Helpdesk experience.Full UK Driving License.
