Apply now Housing Assistant needed for a 3 month temporary contract in Bristol Your new company You will be joining a local supported housing provider who provides support to vulnerable service users. This organisation promotes independence and focuses on improving service users lives.Your new role As a housing assistant you will be working on a full time (37.5 hours) temporary basis with a potential to go permanent after 3 months. As a housing assistant you will provide accommodation and housing related support to service users with complex needs living in high and medium level shared supported accommodation. As a housing assistant you will deliver high standards of housing management to the properties and a responsive, client orientated housing service. You will be required to carry out maintenance checks, report repairs, collect rent and manage rent arrears. As a housing assistant you will also carry out tenancy management, going through tenancy sign ups and organising the timely turnaround of void properties to meet occupancy targets. What you'll need to succeed To be a successful Housing Assistant you must have previous experience in a similar role and have knowledge on property management and tenancy management. You must have access to a car and have a clean driving license, as well as a DBS or the documents to produce a DBS on your behalf.
