Apply now MMP Consultancy are pleased to be working closely with a medium sized housing provider who are currently seeking a Head of Property Services to provide strategic and technical leadership to their planned works, reactive maintenance and compliance functions. My client requires an inspirational leader to communicate clearly, motivate and nurture their responsible teams following a period of transition for the organisation. The new Head of Property Services will endeavour to create a positive working environment for all involved, but also provide a technically sound, customer focused and cost-efficient property services function. Responsibilities of the successful applicant include: - Utilising stock data to develop programmes of work to improve assets. - Provide technical leadership in the delivery of the cyclical maintenance / refurbishment programmes. - Provide leadership within reactive maintenance, ensuring repairs are completed promptly, minimising disruption for residents whilst ensuring cost effective and long-lasting repairs. - Provide leadership within all compliance matters, ensuring properties meet both legislative and internal requirements. - Work closely with the Head of Development to on the delivery of new homes. - Provide budgetary leadership within all disciplines. - Provide strategic and technical support to senior management / board members, including timely reporting and presentation of asset data. This is a challenging post with a fantastic organisation that provides the opportunity for an individual to put their own stamp on a property services team, driving forward continual development and service improvement in a continually forward moving environment. It is essential that applicants for this post have experience leading / managing within a social housing environment, hold a relevant technical surveying degree / qualification and can demonstrate a proven track record of achievement within social housing.
