Apply now Head of Human Resources Salary range: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum Full Time: 40 hours per week Based in Bristol ABOUT US Bristol Waste Company is responsible for refuse and recycling collections, street cleansing, recycling site management and waste disposal services for the city of Bristol, plus a growing commercial waste business serving local companies. We are an enthusiastic, forward-thinking company with a workforce in excess of 500 people and an ambitious vision for the future. We are looking for an exceptional HR professional to lead on developing and implementing our people strategy, encompassing our human resources and learning & development functions, to help the company achieve its ambitions. THE ROLE Reporting to the Development Director, you will work with the senior management and leadership teams to deliver the company's vision, strategies and plans. You will be responsible for designing strategies and policies that help to build high performing, customer focused and commercially orientated teams within a culture that puts customers at the heart of what we do and works with communities to make Bristol a place to be proud of. Requirements: You will have significant leadership and management experience in HR and L&D. You will have experience of senior level management and decision making, along with change management experience and expertise. You will be commercially aware and will have a track record of successful delivery of projects and initiatives. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be comfortable delivering presentations and interacting with people at all levels. You will have proven ability to influence and persuade along with personal integrity and the ability to motivate and inspire others. You should hold a relevant professional qualification, along with membership of a professional body e.g. the CIPD.
