Based in North West London Salary (32-34k) according to experience Additional benefits and closing early Fridays We are seeking an experienced, confident EVENT MANAGER to head and grow the charity's successful and well established events. You will have experience planning and delivering large scale events, as well as excellent communication, organisational and team work skills. Essential to this role: Background in fundraising event organisation, high profile eventsExperience working with caterers, venues, and production companiesCarried out all event operational functions and led an events teamability to multi taskFinancial competence/budget controlAbility to lead a teamGood problem solving skillsAbility to stay calm under pressue Responsibilities To manage the Charity's major events, researching, securing and providing liaison with venues and leading on all supplier managementTo attend the major eventsTo take overall strategic management of the entire events portfolioTo liaise with the marketing officer to develop appropriate marketing and promotional literatureTo work closely with the CEO, and other senior managers to secure speakers and themes for major eventsTo work closely with the fundraising team, to cultivate attendees, audiencesTo line manage an experienced events managerBenchmark, monitor and draw upon best practice in event fundraising, adhering to fundraising regulator and GDPR guidelines A full application pack and job description is available for those candidates who have been successful.
