Apply now Head of Portfolio Management (Portfolio Management, Change Management, Architecture, Design, Stakeholder Management Budgets) - Permanent - LiverpoolSalary: Up to £73,000 per annum plus benefitsSearch IT are currently looking for a Head of Portfolio Management on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Liverpool.The Head of Portfolio Management will have skills in the following areas:* Experience of successfully leading, managing and motivating teams at a senior level, including managing team performance. * In-depth knowledge (and experience) of business architecture methodology and development. * Experience of project management, preferably with an understanding of definition, inception and design methods and techniques. * Detailed understanding of organisational change, ideally with experience of delivering large scale change across a complex multi-site organisation. * Proven track record of financial awareness including analysis and interpretation of complex financial data. * Evidence of effective senior stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation. * Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels within the business. * Results driven with strong analytical skills and experience of providing meaningful management information. * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities. The Head of Portfolio Management will be responsible for the following areas:* Leading the service on behalf of the entire business* Develop and maintain architecture and design methodologies* Shape the portfolio of projects within the business* Support the acquisition opportunities* Develop, implement, maintain and review the Group's target and transitional operating models, in association with Executive Directors, ensuring alignment with and supporting the delivery of strategic objectives* Develop and maintain the architecture and design methodology, ensuring it is clearly communicated to key stakeholders, in particular those involved in change* Act as the main point of contact for the Group's operating model and all new requirements for change, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, dealing with escalated design issues and change requests, ensuring that all projects incepted are clearly scoped and aligned to the operating model and acting as Chair of the Architects Forum to ensure the effective operation of the Design Authority* Oversee the development of Business Process Design for all projects, to ensure there is a clarity of scope and high level business requirements* Support the due diligence of acquisition opportunities, providing operational due diligence and determine the impact on the current operating model and change portfolio.
