Our vision is to make a positive impact for our residents and the community and we are seeking to recruit a skilled and friendly Maintenance Operative (Handyman) to join our team and help us achieve this vision. You will be a key part of our small team and will carry out minor repairs within our homes, ensure our communal areas are kept clean and tidy and provide a great customer service to our tenants. You will also play a vital role in helping to keep the organisation compliant with health and safety as well as being the face of PCHA with our tenants. Duties will include but not limited to; Responding to minor repairs and maintenance requests in a timely mannerCarrying out weekly fire alarm testsCarrying out regular scheme inspections, identifying any problems or concernsProviding a cleaning and gardening service on our smaller schemesEnsuring communal areas are clean, tidy and decorated to a standard you would like to live in Requirements Full UK driving licence (essential)Commitment to customer service (essential)Experience of carrying out minor repair works and use of power tools (essential)Previous experience working within people's homes (desirable)Worked with, or have a good understanding of working with vulnerable people (desirable) Package £22,000 FTE (21 Hours)Company vehicle25 days holiday (Pro-Rota)Pension Scheme CLOSING DATE: 9am on 26th March.
