Apply now HR Manager - CIPD qualified12 Month Fixed Term Maternity ContractLocation: Brighton (Multisite)Must have own transport due to visiting other sitesSalary: £34k - £36kHours: Full TimeI have great pleasure in supporting my client in the recruitment of an HR Manager to join their busy organisation based in Brighton.Responsibilities:* Providing professional support to all internal clients on every aspect on HR* Ensuring the recruitment, selection, induction * Managing grievance and capability issues and leading on complex issues inclusive of conciliation and employee tribunals* Ensuring correct application of HR procedures and policies* Build strong relationships with senior managers* Provide periodic data reports as required* Liaise closely with HR systems manager and support the HR Director in the implementation of HR strategic priorities across the organisation* Ensure that all aspects of HR administration and processing of paperwork is in accordance with DPA requirements* Assisting the HR Director with any ad hoc project work as required* Maintain up to date knowledge of HR changes in legislation and changes in employment lawThe right candidate will have the following skills and attributes:* Proven role within HR, managing a team* CIPD qualified* Excellent communication skills* Detailed knowledge of employment law, HR policies, practices and procedures * Ideally educated to graduate level* Highly organised with the ability to meet strict deadlines* Knowledge of payroll and pensions within a public sector business* Sound knowledge of basic contract law* Current knowledge of equality legislation* Ideally worked within public sector however this is not a necessity This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and highly professional organisation, for more information on this role please contact Sarah Nicholas on or apply today!
