Apply now Our client a highly regarding law firm have created a new opportunity to provide relevant HR Advisor and Managers with administrative support for HR processes and procedures relating to secretarial and fee earner staff and to help ensure that the HR department provides a quality service in all respects. Responsibilities include: To assist with the day-to-day administration processes for both fee earners and secretaries,To update the firm's IT systemsMaintain salary spreadsheets, organisation charts, starters and leavers reportRun reports on absence and sickness levels and pass information to Advisor/Manager.Processing the monthly payrollTo help administer the annual salary reviewsMonitor and maintain the timely and accurate completion of appraisal forms and recording grades appropriately.To develop a good understanding of HR processes and procedures.Suggest ideas for the improvement of HR services and processes.Assist with the production of job descriptions.Start to build and maintain good relationships with agencies/headhunters and update them with the vacancy requirementsTo organise and attend induction meetings for new secretarial joiners.To administer the secondment programme for fee earners within your practice areas.To keep HR Managers fully informed of the current status of work, of any problems encountered and how these problems can be resolved. With experience of generalist HR administration including database systems and report writing you will have excellent IT skills. With a bubbly character and the ability to work pro-actively as part of a well respected team you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
