Apply now Contract Type: Permanent Base: Paul Street, London Reporting to the HR Business Partner, as a HR Advisor you will be responsible for building, strengthening and maintaining strong relationships by helping and advising service-users in respect of HR, employment law and other such related queries. You will be service-driven, out-going and personable, confident in dealing with all levels of stakeholders, proactive, diplomatic with a positive and enthusiastic can-do attitude. You will be passionate and a logical-thinker looking for HR/Employment Law experience within a multi-jurisdictional, multi-industry, service related business with a headcount in excess of 15,000 employees Role and Responsibilities: Advise, guide and support Supervisors/Managers within the Business Unit, on a range of HR and Employment Law issues throughout the entire Employee Lifecycle in line with legislation, best practice and company processes and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness within specified and measured SLAsEffective management of various HR queries and requests for support including complex cases, engaging key stakeholders and developing end to end solutions with expert advice primarily via telephone and emailEnsure the company is legally protected in all employee related matters, while considering the employee experience and balancing appropriate risk in a commercially-focussed mannerDevelop and maintain strong relationships with Managers and service-usersInfluence and provide timely expert advice to line managers while building capability of line managers, through coaching and specific interventions/escalationsIdentify and implement improvements in employee relations matters in liaison with the Management teamAssist at various off-site meetings as requiredKeeping up to date with all relevant legislation, current and proposed and carry out research on any HR and/or Employment Law matters as requiredBrief service-users and senior team on relevant topics as necessaryAssist in the development and maintenance of HR metrics reports and dashboardsLiaise with People & Payroll Services (PPS) and other staff support departments on any employee-related matters and day-to-day issuesEnsure that the administration of all HR systems is maintained to meet legislative and company requirements.Development and ongoing review of internal HR Policies and Processes in line with current legislation and good practiceProvide on-call support and guidance to service-users on a rota basisAttend internal training sessions as necessaryCarry out other ad-hoc support, projects and duties as assigned by the HR management team Skills/Experience: A passion for delivery and working to SLA targets and KPIsIn-depth understanding of and genuine passion for employment law and HR processes and policiesKnowledge and experience of managing complex cases from an Employee relations perspective right through to IR/ET.Strong credibility, professionalism and ability to influence at a senior level with strong stakeholder management skillsSuperb attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCoaching skillsCommercially-focussed and service-driven while balancing a genuine desire to enhance the overall employee experienceCollaborative style and good team playerAbility to manage high workloads and conflicting prioritiesAbility to seek out and identify opportunities for improvementPlanning, prioritisation and organisation skillsA self-starter who has a demonstrated capability and maturity to take ownership of their own developmentExcellent written and verbal English
