This Group Quality Assurance Manager position will involve you working with a cluster of sites in the across the Midlands & Southern regions where you will be liaising cross functionally in order to drive best practice. Client Details This company are part of a market leading group supplying specialist products into a versatile customer base. As the Group Quality Assurance Manager you will play a big part in ensuring efficient and consistent processes to meet customer needs. You will be leading the site and supporting the wider business in maintaining compliance to GDP and GMP. Description As the Group Quality Assurance Manager you will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing the company's quality improvement strategy. You will be working closely with the senior management contingent to form a best practice working culture. Key Responsibilities include: To support the business in maintaining the QMS system compliance to GDP/GMP. Overseeing the management of deviations and CAPAs and reporting on deviation metrics.Scheduling and managing the supplier audit program and performing supplier audits.Scheduling and managing the internal audit / self-inspection program and performing internal audits.Ensuring that all direct reports adhere to the Company Health & Safety policies / standards at all times.To lead the business in continuous improvement, ensuring changes are appropriately documented, reviewed, approved and controlled by developing and implementing improvement techniques.Performing process mapping and improvement activities.Development and improvement of the business continuity plans and underpinning documents including Business Impact Analysis documentation and the business continuity risk register.Scheduling, managing and performing internal ISO audit / self-inspections and business continuity exercises.Ensuring that all QA department activity is performed in accordance with defined procedures and customer instructions and where applicable appropriate records are maintained.Ensuring that quality incidents, client / customer complaints and deviations are appropriately recorded, investigated, corrective actions identified and communicated.Acting as Responsible Person for some of the sites.Training and mentoring site Quality teams. Profile A Quality professional/ Quality Assurance Manager with experience in the pharmaceuticals industry working to GDP or GMP standards. The successful applicant will have: Formal quality training/qualificationsIn depth knowledge and experience of implementing and maintaining Quality Management SystemsProven management and leadership capabilityThe ability to communicate effectively at all levelsThe ability to motivate direct reports and influence othersIdeally multi-site experience Job Offer Circa £45,000 - £55,000 + Car + Benefits
