You will provide insightful and effective support to a variety of stakeholders across all group functions. Key responsibilities of the Group Finance Manager will include: -To develop and subsequently improve the management information produced to assist in improved decision making.-To produce complete, accurate and timely management accounting information for the relevant P&L. This includes responsibility for the accounting for all direct and indirect costs.-You will have ideally worked for a fast-paced and dynamic organisation, so will be comfortable adhering to tight deadlines. As an individual, you must show clear technical ability, as well as a confident leadership style; able to deal with the numbers at a high level, but also follow a hands on approach on the ground where everything is processed. -Taking ownership of the financial reporting for your business areas profit & loss in addition to certain overheads areas to ensure the financial performance is understood and communicated to the relevant people, advising senior management of financial opportunities and threats in a timely manner.-Additionally the role will involve building relationships with a variety of stakeholders within the business to ensure focus on optimising gross profit through optimising costs and driving efficiencies.The ideal Group Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).-Show strong financial and commercial experience including performance and process improvement. -Good leadership, communication and negotiation skills.-Previous management experience as will lead and develop a small team.-Good systems skills particularly Excel and Oracle.This is an excellent opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join this well known brand where you will have the freedom to influence Finance and the wider business.
