Apply now Functional Tester Blue Lab Hove Period: 3 months My client a leading energy provider is looking to engage a Functional Tester for an initial period of 3 months. You will be joining the highly innovative Blue Lab team and work in an exciting and exploratory environment. You will be working alongside leading industry professionals and have the opportunity to example and develop your experience within an Agile environment that encourages entrepreneurial spirit. As the Functional Tester you will have experience of working in a very small team of testers and have experience of setting up the test function and the test processes for a new organisation. You must be able to produce test approaches, test plans and individual test scripts and executing and reporting on functional testing. Experience/skills: Functional Tester Previous experience of working with AWS platform (desirable)Desirable knowledge of Java, Javascript on AWS Lambda, AWS SQS, AWS Dynamodb, AWS RDS and AWS Cognito Previous experience in testing digital products such as apps including mobile appsInfluential communicator; skilled at selecting and presenting summarised information.Proficient at resource planning and control in a project environment.Enjoys a challenging and demanding role. Resilient under pressure.Excellent knowledge and experience in software testing and test tool use and is able to demonstrate experience in the following principles and standards: dynamic testing techniques, static testing techniques, non-functional testing techniques, test automation, agile testing, planning and estimating, environment configuration and access management, incident and defect management, test efficiency and effectiveness measurement.
