We are a not for profit organisation with a big commercial focus and a big heart! Our Finance Development Department has recently had a refresh and we are seeking new talent to join the team in what will be a period of rapid growth and development for the organisation. We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to build, improve and maintain financial models to forecast the overall financial impact of the Group's capital expenditure, sales and asset management programme, including inter-company transactions. Core purposes of your role To build and review appraisal models to assess and inform decision making on new initiatives. To undertake benchmarking and market analysis to assist with decision making on strategic and project initiatives About the job Undertake the manual creation of financial models to meet the needs of the business, analysing the effect of capital expenditure, sales and asset management initiatives on the organisation's debt, capacity, cash flow and revenues. Build and review investment appraisals of projects. Undertake scenario analysis and stress testing of projects and the effect of capital expenditure and asset management on the business. Gather financial information for input into financial models, including undertaking market research and benchmarking of assumptions. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing commercial and analytical advice on the impact of new projects and optimal ways of financial structuring. Analyse and regularly monitor key KPIs to ensure that risks to the business arising from the capital expenditure and sales programme are identified and managed. Provide information for the Financial Plan. Ensure that financial models are kept up to date and reconciled to other data sources such as project data and pamwin. Work with the Head of Property Analytics, to have an active input into strategic decisions based on outputs from financial models. Support the production of management information such as KPIs, schedules, dashboards, and other monthly reports. Support the objectives of the department through active involvement and delivery of in value adding projects.
