Apply now Are you a qualified Financial Controller with broad accounting and compliance experience? My client is a very successful international hedge fund with a requirement for an individual with the aforementioned skill set to join their team on a 12 month contract, based in the City of London. This is an extremely varied role involving corporate accounting, compliance and operations:- Responsible for all corporate accounting including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review and the preparation of timely and accurate group monthly management accounts and reports for management- Production of statutory accounts for the Group and its various subsidiary companies- Active management of overheads whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies for savings- Overseeing monthly processing of payroll/payments/benefits to employees in all offices- Ensure returns for Corporation Tax, VAT, P35, P11d and other relevant taxes are calculated and submitted- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, brokers, bankers and other parties in consultation with the Directors- Act as the main contact with the FCA- Prepare and submit regulatory compliance filings (FCA, SEC, CFTC, Form ADV, KIIDs and other foreign regulatory filings) together with any other compliance reports- Responsible for the day to day compliance monitoring and ensuring remedial action if needed- Oversight of the review, and coordination of changes to AIF Fund constitutional documents and agreements- Assist with any changes to UCITS Fund constitutional documents and agreements- Coordinate AIF board meetings, board packs, attendance at meetings and coordinate filingsThe ideal applicant will have: - An accountancy qualification with relevant senior finance experience gained in an alternative asset management firm- Broad accounting and compliance (ideally CF10) exposure with the ability to prioritise and enjoy working in a diverse role - A strong work ethic, first class communication and team management skillsIf you have similar experience to that outlined above and are looking for a 12 month contract within a small but dynamic environment, please forward your CV today.Randstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
