If you are currently studying towards CIMA or ACCA at a Part Qualified level or have 1 -2 years accounting experience already under your belt and are looking to move into a more commercial management accounting or financial analysis role, this role could be a great opportunity to join a business with a track record of nurturing part qualified accountants and propelling career progression in an environment where early responsibility is the norm. We are interested in speaking to those with excellent analytical, commercial and sound Excel spreadsheet skills that can business partner non-financial operational staff to drive business performance through the provision of sound financial modelling and analysis. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the successful candidate with be a self-starter with an inquisitive mind, a commercial outlook and a continuous improvement mind-set:Key responsibilities will include:*Creating financial models and processes to track and measure performance against budget*Work with operations to help understand key performance trends and what lies behind those trends *Help the business understand key business drivers behind the commercial operating model so that risks can be managed and opportunities maximised*Providing insight into understanding key cost lines and how and improved productivity could be achieved through cost management initiatives*Attending operational meetings as the key Finance Business Partner, presenting key financial metrics and KPI's to the business*Create continuous improvement frameworks to ensure that operating models are robust and accurate across various business lines*Working on key efficiency programs with the Senior Financial Analysis Manager, this will involve financial reporting, investment analysis and variance reporting*Assisting with quarterly and annual budget preparation covering both cost and revenue linesSkills and Experience:*You must be part qualified CIMA / ACCA (early stages) /or have sound accounting experience already under your belt and a strong academic background (Graduate / A-Levels)*Ideally you will have at least 1 - 3 years' experience with accounts *You must have excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, including strong Excel spreadsheet skills *Strong communication skills are a must to effectively work with non-financial operational staff*You must be able to demonstrate previous examples of continuous improvement from previous rolesWhat's on offer:*Competitive salary (with regular salary reviews)*A comprehensive study support package*A generous Annual Bonus*Fully supported study package*Excellent career progression potentialAGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
