Apply now Finance Manager - 38k-42k - Based in Chorley - No1 on site - SME Organisation - Progressive opportunity Your new companyYou will be working for a successful SME organisation within the Manufacturing/energy sector based in Chorley, Lancashire. They are currently going through some organisational change and need a fantastic finance lead to support the next step in the organisations growth.Your new roleAs the Finance Manager and no1 on site for this organisation you will manage a team of 4 both Finance and non Finance based staff. You will be required to provide the full finance operation on site ensuring the timely production of month end accounts and business partner closely with both financial and non financial stakeholders within the organisation. You will have autonomy in managing the month end process and will produce the MI packs that get sent to group in Italy. You will be involved in monthly and quarterly forecasting and you must be hands on in your approach as you will have overall responsibility of monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting. You will be responsible for all statutory accounting including, VAT, Intrastat and will deal with the bank from a finance perspective.What you'll need to succeedYou will be fully qualified or Qualified by experience (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and ideally will have experience working within a service/manufacturing led industry. Due to the level of this position, it would be ideal for you to have previous experience in managing a small finance team and have the ability to affect and implement controls, efficiencies and commercial awareness.What you'll get in returnIn return for this, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of between £38k-£42k.
