Apply now Finance Manager - Permanent Opportunity - Based in East Lancashire - £30k-£35k - Stand alone Finance role Your new companyYou will be working for a global market leading developer and manufacturer within a niche market who have been operating in Nelson, Lancashire for over 40 years. A fantastic organisation with over 1000 employees based across a number of sites including in Nelson, East Lancashire.Your new roleIn your new role as Finance Manager you will be solely responsible for all Finance elements and functions for the organisation. As the sole Finance member based on site you will have an extremely varied role and will report directly into the FD based at Head office. You will be required to complete Monthly Management accounts in line with company policy and will be required to complete all statutory accounting including VAT return and Intrastat, EC Sales and HMRC payments. You will provide the full end to end accounts and all Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and minimal Credit Control will fall under your remit. You will work with non-financial stakeholders on site in supporting them with budgets and will support the forecasting into wider group.What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or be qualified by experience and have worked within the manufacturing industry. You will be extremely diligent and have a commercial angle to all you do. You will be able to work to strict deadlines and enjoy a challenge. You will enjoy producing full end to end accounts and being involved in the transactional elements. You will ideally have experience working on Sage 1000 ERP System, however this is not essential.What you'll get in returnYou will get the opportunity to work within a fantastic organisation and have full responsibility of a finance function.
