Apply now Job Title - Finance Junior - Travel Sector Job Location - London Salary - £15k - £17k Our client is recruiting a Finance Junior to work alongside the Credit Control Manager and other members of the finance team. In the role you will be processing customer receipts and bank transfers, reconciling cash receipts and credit card transactions to bank statements. Other parts of the role include answering customer phone calls and taking credit card payments and follow up credit control calls to check payment status. Hours are from 9am to 5.30pm Monday - Friday and staff are occasionally required to assist outside of these times as required. Responsibilities: Assisting with the verification of direct costs using the booking and fulfilment system including: VisasTour and other land costsFlight costsStopover hotel costs; and UK pre and post flight costs Assisting with overheads processing, including: Validating invoices via manager/director approvalCoding and posting to Sun finance systemPreparation and sending of remittance advicesDocument filing in electronic filing systemDocument shredding once entered in filing system Assisting with various reconciliations including: Bank accountsCredit cardsPetty cashCapital bonds Key Skills/Experience Needed: Numeracy, GCSE pass in mathematicsLiteracy, GCSE pass in EnglishGood telephone mannerPC competence, basic knowledge of computing and Microsoft Office productsGood attention to detailPresentable, there will be face to face contact with clientsTo have an interest in travel
