Apply now 10 month FTC - Finance Business Partner - Legal firm - Based in Wigan - £38-£42k Your new companyYou will be working for a top 150 law firm based in Wigan, Lancashire who have over 40 years history within the Legal sector.Your new roleIn your new role as Finance Business Partner you will be an integral part of the Finance function in providing commercial, financial guidance to the budget holders and key decision makers within the organisation. Supporting up to 12 business units you will provide robust financial management information, recommendations and challenge all Financial aspects to deliver improved decision making resulting in growth in fees and profit. You will lead the production of firm wide monthly MI and analyse variances to budget and the causes for that. You will Provide financial support to budget holders to aid understanding of all financial information produced and work with budget holders across the firm to review performance, provide meaningful analysis and translation of results. You will assist in the annual budget setting process and jointly develop accurate forecasts that accurately reflect current position of the firm. You will Lead the year end audit producing the audit file and liaising with the audit team whilst being responsible for producing the quarterly VAT returns and be the lead accountant in the firm for VAT.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and have previous experience in influencing/business partnering with budget holders within an organisation. You will be extremely commercial and have the analytical acumen to drill down to provide quality MI that can be implemented into the organisation. You will be an excellent communicator and must be able to translate financial information into robust MI that can be utilised by both financial and no financial stakeholders.What you'll get in returnYou will get the opportunity to work within a thriving organisation and be a key part in the decision making process in the future path the organisation takes.
