Apply now Are you an experienced Category Manager or Buyer looking to take on a new challenge? Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Feedstock Acquisition Manager specialising in glass. covering the Midlands and South East regions. This is a national role and will involve extensive travel throughout the UK. As part of the Commercial and Trading Team you shall be responsible for ensuring the glass assets have sufficient levels of quality feedstock materials. This involves developing a strategy and implementing a supply plan plan to achieve safe, timely and value procurement of glass recyclable materials from company assets, Local Authorities and third parties. As our Feedstock Acquisition Manager, you'll have:Knowledge and experience of the waste and recycling industries.Good knowledge of geographical area.Have and maintain a good understanding of the market influence factors, competitor knowledge.Excellent understanding of commodity sales.Experience of working to and achieving targets.Ability to be tactful yet confident; able to build and maintain successful relationships with suppliers yet build new feedstocks.Experience working on TendersThis position is a challenging, fast-paced role with often conflicting priorities and the jobholder will need to be efficient and flexible to meet the business needsFeedstock Acquisition Manager Responsibilities include:Achieve profitable targets against budget and to increase market shareIdentify, secure, profitable full product portfolio within the areas covered by regional facilities.
