Description The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for: Planned Use of the planned maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained in a state fit for purpose.Ensure that deliveries to goods in are received and transported to an appropriate area in line with appropriate SOPs.Removal of laboratory waste as per SOPs.Manage stock levels of facilities consumablesPerform routine Health and Safety/Facilities checks as per schedule. Reactive Response to any issues requiring corrective maintenance either through customer requests or observations/checks.Manage facilities helpdesk as part of a rota to ensure customer requests are responded to within agreed time framesManagement of handyman tasks.Removal of laboratory waste on request General Communicate effectively with immediate line manager, colleagues and staff from other departments to help the smooth running business.Compliance with H
