Apply now As an Events Management company my client will plan any event in almost any location. From international incentive trips and conferences to kick off meetings, seminars and executive dinners. They have an impressive client list that come back to them time-and-time again. Outline of Role To work within a small, close knit team to deliver high quality events to corporate clients at various locations either in the UK or abroad. Understanding of and delivering events to the clients brief, ensuring that the event is delivered within budget on time and to client's satisfaction. Provide support to other members of the team with the delivery of their events. Responsible for the management of a portfolio of accounts. Management of forecast, pipeline and budgets within account portfolio. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a full understanding of Client's event objectives offering additional suggestions as appropriate. Create Client proposals ensuring these meet or exceed the Client's objectives and are created in the companies standard format Ensure that all aspects of events are managed and delivered to an exemplary standard & within budget Researching and sourcing venues, catering, entertainment, speakers, AV and any other requirements for the event, ensuring that best price is attained Arranging travel and accommodation, as relevant to the event, ensuring best price or group discounts Sourcing of event collateral and other materials, ensure that event collateral is produced in accordance with the Client's corporate branding Manage relationship with event sponsors to ensure that their objectives are met When required manage all aspects of delegate registration and post event follow up and report back to Client within agreed timescales & format Build relationships with suppliers and liaise with them on a project by project basis ensuring that best prices are achieved Develop and maintain relationship within allocated accounts portfolio, gaining an understanding of their future requirements to build a pipeline and plan resources accordingly Maintain financial records and paperwork in line with Company procedures both during and post-event (eg. quote log, forecast, budget sheet, etc) Post event follow up with Clients Identify and follow up on new business opportunities Skills Required Demonstrate an understanding of 'customersatisfaction' by actions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written, verbal, listening & questioning to validate understanding Excellent presentation skills Ability to delegate effectively Display controlled response Strong negotiation skills Willingness to learn Excellent organisational and project management skills Ability to multi-task and deliver to a high standard at all times Ability to think on feet and employ good judgment A high level of numeracy Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages Personal Attributes Committed, reliable and flexible attitude To understand and work with integrity Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team Understand interpersonal sensitivity Adaptable to change High attention to detail Ability to keep calm and maintain a high standard of work under pressure A good sense of humour UK Driving Licence Join this "small but perfectly formed team" and use your creative and organisational. time management and multi-tasking skills to the full!!
