Essentially the role will involve overseeing and delivering on a range of events including roundtables, conferences, exhibitions, awards and company events. Marketing, promotional activity, logistics and operational aspects are key to this position. Key responsibilities: Operations: Manage all operational activities in the run up to the event, on the day and post event.Manage the event information on the administration systemBook and manage venues for each eventCo-ordinate all communications with delegates, speakers and sponsors in the run up to the eventCollate and deliver all on-the-day printed collateral such as delegates guides and signageOrganise hotel rates, accommodation and travel for the teamManage the event budget ensuring all operational costs are within agreed limitsComplete post event activities such as delegate thank you letters with link to presentations and feedback analysisMake sure all events are planned and delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and standards Marketing communications: Lead the marketing and promotional activity on a number of eventsCreate and coordinate the website for each event and manage the day-to-day updating of all information within themLiaise with and chase sponsors regarding their promotional activity of the event Ensure attendee / entry targets are met / exceededProvide detailed reports of booking activity and marketing effectiveness for all events both in the run up to and post event · Create and deliver a detailed marketing plan for each event, working closely with the event manager· Use of google analytics, remarketing and social media to maximise attendanceSales support: Support the sales teams in their sales activitiesEnsure all delegates, guests and sponsors and exhibitors are logged on the event administration systemWork with sponsors and colleagues to ensure delivery of all sponsor contractual agreementsConstruct exhibitor floor plans and table plans Core Competencies: Plans and prioritises everyday workloadGives reliable information about progress of work and delivery to deadlines Ability to cope under pressure, juggling a number of projects at one timeAble to work effectively with a range of personality types whose methods may differ Share relevant information with others to achieve goalsCommunicates effectively and regularly both orally and in writing Consistently produces work which meets required standards of quality and accuracyStrong attention to detailMaintain quality control proceduresEnsures department procedures are maintained at all times and looks for effective ways to improve themDelivers on time to agreed standards Able to work without supervision and take the initiative and offer solutions to manager on how you can assist Takes action to keep customers happy, going beyond just what's required both when office based and on-site if requiredActs promptly and courteously to deal with all customer queries and complaints Salary £20K - £23K plus bonus Due to the high volume of applications, Lloyd Recruitment Services can only contact shortlisted candidates.
