Apply now Smart Technical Analyst - Energy Provider Full Time: 37.5 hours a week between 8am-8pm Monday-Sunday Salary - up to £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Sitel Coventry has a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic SMART Technical Analyst to join our team in the city centre. The SMART Technical Analyst will be the point of contact for all smart internal/external partnerships in relation to ensuring secure data and systems. You will be accountable as the point of contact and for resolutions related to the monitoring and delivery of information security matters, liaising with experts from functions such as Information Security Management, Site Security, Human Resources, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance where necessary. The Role Ensure data and information systems are operated to the required standards and maintained accurately and securely.Own/manage all Anomaly Detection Thresholds are determined and assessed to provide an effective means of detecting a compromise to the Enduring Smart Meter Solution, the User Systems and DevicesCalculation of Supply Sensitive Check upliftsResponsible for assessing whether any other Service Requests require Threshold Anomaly Detection actionsFull ownership of Anomaly Detection Threshold breachesUpdating and reviewing Anomaly Detection ThresholdsOwn/manage the DCC Alerts, Device Alerts, including analysis of Device logOwn/manage the processes for applying the Supply Sensitive CheckOwn/manage the Material Security VulnerabilitiesOwn/manage any Smart metering DCC governanceCalculate/communicate/administer Anomaly Detection ThresholdsOwn/manage business journey questions, portfolio parameters and upliftsIdentify and manage operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriateResearch and recommend new services and or/service providers to bring efficiencies and/or support the growth of the smart programmeSeek out opportunities to drive and implement continuous improvements in performance, compliance and process.Use insight and data to make recommendations for improvement and provide feedback on performanceAssist in the design, development and delivery of events/workshops to share information and build knowledge and deliver change across the businessApply and promote Green Star Energy values in all day to day activities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise At least 3 years' utilities (Gas/Electricity) experienceProven experience of Business AnalysisAbility to interpret numerical and written data to identify key issues, trends, establish links, impacts consequences and areas of opportunityMicrosoft Office proficientExcellent attention to detailExcellent communication skills - both written and verbalExcellent organisation skills with the ability to drive performance and self-manageEffective communication skills and the ability to influence othersBe an energetic team player, who can operate comfortably with their colleaguesStrong relationship building/management and stakeholder skills and the ability to drive Able to deliver operational key performance and compliance metrics and effectively communicate these to othersperformanceExcellent organisation skills and effective self-managementStrong governance approaches and methodologiesAbility to challenge and manage conflict whilst maintaining effective working relationshipsAwareness of the risks and issues faced by the business and their role in mitigating theseSome travel to UK supplier sites Essential Skills Energy, Opportunity, and Growth are core to your way of being and are essential to succeed with us: You have the Energy to commit to going 'above and beyond' on everything you do, it is not the exception.
