Employee Relations Manager (9 - 12 months) We are currently looking for a ER Manager to join our ER team in our Head Office in Watford (Greater London). Areas of responsibiliy will include Be a strategic partner Contribute to the development of the TJX Europe employee relations strategy from a UK and ROI perspective particularly around legitimate local differences as well as local business objectives and priorities.As required, coordinate the delivery of employee relations strategy and initiatives across Europe, working closely with HRBPs and local ER teams.Survey legislative horizon for UK and ROI to inform policy development and compliance work stream focus to ensure TJX is compliant from an employment and compliance perspective. Design & Deliver - be a Subject Matter Expert Design and drive the delivery of HR policies and other supporting tools in the UK and ROI in line with the business objectives and priorities in country. Lead role in developing blueprints for policies and approaches to be used across other European countries.Take a leading role in the delivery of employee relations initiatives in the business in the UK and ROI in line with TJX Europe values and culture.Drive the enhancement and continuous improvement of ER capability within the UK / ROI management population through the design and implementation of training initiatives on ER and compliance topics (including immigration).Liaise effectively with legal counsel, externally and internally.Maintain up to date knowledge on legal requirements to ensure that TJX is compliant. Seeked profile:Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience Significant UK ER experience, including policy development, case management, HR compliance/audit, change management and project management. Strong technical expertise on legally compliant policies/processes, e.g. Right to Work, Data Protection, Pay, Working Time (UK essential, European experience highly desirable).Experience of working in a global and/or international organisation.Experience of one or a combination of: working with trade unions/trade union officials, employee forums, collective consultation bodies, employee engagement initiatives.High personal impact and able to gain credibility quickly.Experience in a fast moving, customer facing organisation.Strong big picture perspective balanced with a keen eye for detail.Clear ideas and solutions combined with flexibility and openness to alternative solutions.Self-starter who can effectively manage conflicting priorities.Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity.Strong communicator at all levels of the organisation, with an ability to flex style appropriately.Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functions and geographical boundaries.
