Apply now Development Chemist - Fuels - Formulation - R&D - Essex - £30k + excellent company benefitsA leading speciality chemical manufacturing business based in Essex is currently seeking a Development Chemist to join their R&D fuels performance team on a permanent basis. As Development Chemist, you will take a dual role within their innovation team and provide both formulation and QC expertise to current and new products. Responsibilities*To perform testing on both existing and new products and provide technical feedback to the group. *Conduct new formulations on both new and existing products and the ability to perform testing when required. *To support the delivery to agreed time lines product and test method development programmes.*Support the development of new fuels. *To provide technical support to the business line for customer enquiries*Interface with external test providers and supervise the special testing requirements of products.*Assist with the scale up of new products for bulk manufactureRequirements *You must possess a strong academic background, BSc/MSc/MChem in Chemistry or closely related field of study.*Previous experience within an R&D lab - formulating and developing fuels (aviation, diesel, petrol) OR lubricant products. *IT literate and excellent communication skills. *A strong understand of general chemistry.In return, a fantastic opportunity is on offer for the right individual with the company under taking year on year growth. £30k + excellent company benefits.
