Apply now Desktop Support Engineer - Executive Level - Leading Insurance Company Leading Insurance Company are recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineers to work with executive team and senior staff within London head office. Key Responsibilities - 1st and 2nd line support desktop support to Central London based office personnel. - User support to VIP / Executive team. - Windows 7x/10 support - MAC OS X support - Managing tasks/tickets via service management tool - Basic network troubleshooting - Liaising with and delegating tasks to relevant teams for escalation via the IT Service Desk - Supporting Head of IT and escalating support issues to Head of IT where necessary - Monitoring and maintaining local printers, mobile devices, and managing maintenance contracts on those or other devices - Responsible for the general health and upkeep of local deskside IT equipment within the London offices - Mobile device support (iPhone/BB) - Active Directory Users and Computer administration - Participate in office moves and changes, coordinating the relocation of PCs/monitors etc. as required Required skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - An understanding of the importance of excellent customer service and a "can do" attitude - The ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues - The ability to work very well in a team environment - The ability to think logically - Strong interpersonal skills - Strong prioritisation skills and ability to follow process - Patience and empathy when dealing with customers and colleagues - Effective problem solving skills based on clear reasoning and sound rationale - Tactful, diplomatic and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment - Ability to work pro-actively, under pressure and independently with minimal direction - A good understanding of mobile devices, such as Apple smartphones and tablets Professional Qualifications - Relevant professional IT Qualifications - ITIL Foundation V3 awareness
