Apply now We have an urgent contract requirement with our client Client Our client is a data consultancy working with clients to transform how they conduct change, ensuring projects deliver value to the business rather than a sole focus on technical scope. They are running some of the most complex change programmes and portfolios in the industry with budgets exceeding £100m. They lead large-scale data, system integration and business transformation projects for financial services clients. Details The role required is to create enterprise standards for data modeling in big data technology (including data quality and reference data) Duties We are looking for Data Consultants who are ambitious, motivated, innovative, and organised to; Implementing Data Management across an enterpriseArchitecture understanding and strong awareness of latest tooling in the marketLarge scale delivery programmesDevelop data migration strategies & plansDriving customer data quality and transformational mappingAnalysing customer requirements and managing customer expectationsWorking with clients, on client-site or from our offices, delivering consulting solutions that meet their needsDeliver a compelling customer experience for our valued clients with hands on implementation through the complete project lifecycle Skills 3+ years' work experience in full systems development as a Data Consultant within a consultancy/SI or commercial/banking environment Ability to effectively influence and lead levels of an organisation through functional boundariesStrong knowledge of relevant technology concepts Must have a strong working knowledge of data concepts Must be up to date on latest patterns, including Hadoop ecosystems as well as traditional environments Strong communication skills, including prioritising, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building Proven time management with organisation skills (must be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines)LEAN principles (Six Sigma) Details Initial 3 month contract with possible extensions after. Start date: 19th March Day rate: circa £500-£600 per day
