Skills Analysing diverse sources of technical data to identify potential cyber attacksMonitoring operational security management systemsSecurity incident triage and investigationAbility to understand raw systems data from security event logs, system logs, application logs & device logsAbility to identify patterns within event data, threat intelligence and malware analysisSpecialism in one or more of the following disciplines: SIEM, Cryptography, Threat & Vulnerability ManagementKnowledge of TCP/IP Networks, Operating Systems and ideally a programming languageKnowledge of network and application Firewalls, host-intrusion prevention and anti-virusExperience with vulnerability management tools and methodologiesPrevious customer facing experience working for a managed services or consulting company would be beneficialPractical knowledge of the Cyber Security threat landscape and current affairsA relevant degree in Engineering or Computer Science ideally from a Russell Group universityUp to date, valid security certifications (eg CISSP, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, GCIA)Track record of long term contract assignments with multiple extensions Apply Now!
