The Job: You will manage a team whose total aim is to provide the very best in customer service. You will constantly monitor and analyse customer feedback data so as to improve service levels and reduce complaint volumes and related costs in line with company objectives. You will oversee the department, conduct regular reviews and develop operational plans in order to achieve established KPI's whilst constantly striving to improve processes and procedures. You will work closely with senior management and marketing to ensure that the company reputation is maintained and improved. You will lead the team, manage talent procurement, conduct training and handle person and performance development to ensure extremely high standards are met and business continuity is assured. The Person: You will have substantial experience of managing a customer services department within a regulated service industry environment. You will have excellent communication skills and relationship management skills, you will be a strong decision maker along with the ability to collaboratively achieve company targets. You will have good attention to detail, be analytical, be able to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and be effective under pressure. You will also have: - Very good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using bespoke systems would be advantageous. A good level of education (Degree preferred but a minimum of good A levels or strong GCSE's including English and Maths) is required. Experience working for a company who must maintain a high level of confidentiality and who deal with sensitive documentation may be an advantage. The drive and desire to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced service driven environment. The salary is flexible but circa £30,000 per annum, depending entirely upon experience and skills.
