Job Title Product Manager Employer & Department WOWcruise (Anytime Travel Group) Primary Location Cardiff - City Centre Working Hours A normal working week consists of 40 hours per week, usually worked over 5 days. However, flexibility in this role is essential. Overview of Responsibilities, Duties & Requirements You will be primarily based in our cruise experience centre in Central Cardiff and responsible for driving our product forward, using all of your skills, experience and knowledge to identify gaps and market trends to consistently deliver on KPI's. You will manage every aspect of the product delivery and work alongside our sales team in order to build and price competitively for our target market, delivering cruise products that will exceed customer expectations. The targets you and your team must meet are ambitious, but for those who succeed, highly rewarding. You will need to be able to work well under pressure within tight timescales whilst ensuring the highest degree of accuracy in a timely manner as speed to market is crucial. Experience in a similar role, overseeing a product development team where you drove the business, is essential. Ideally, you will have a travel background and experience in both retail and online markets, but it will be your ability to create outstanding cruise products that will set you apart. Key Responsibilities & Duties Product development: Create new and exciting product alongside existing productPosition and market product and get new product to marketMonitor product performance by region and conduct competitor analysisDevelop relationships with key partners to source the best rates and gain marketing support for retail and online promotions Management: Recruit, manage, develop, support and retain a great team that can deliver on our targets, provide excellent customer service and are aligned to our ethosCreate relevant opportunities for learning within your team and ensure that learning is sharedOrganise training programmes and people development sessions for your teamCommunicate to the sales team any new information, latest promotions and offersControl any and all overhead budgets delegated to you Profit and sales: Ensure all company targets are met and maximum profits are achievedEnsure all offers on the company website are maintained, promoted, accurate and competitively priced Work alongside the marketing team to factor in activity and plan for key campaigns to maximise returnsWork alongside the sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience Product knowledge: Gain an in-depth knowledge of the cruise industryTake personal responsibility for developing product knowledge by participating in cruise ship visits, FAM trips and other relevant trade events Teamwork: Be a great team player that embodies the WOW EthosAssist colleagues and in any additional duties deemed necessary for the businessShare and pass on your own knowledge to inspire other members of the teamProvide cover for staff in your team as required Please note that this is not a full job description.
